Kate Dishes on Her ‘Gravitational Pull’ and Immediate Attraction to Logan in ‘Paradise’
Forming connections.
Bachelor Nation first met Kate Gallivan on Season 26 of “The Bachelor,” and while things didn’t work out between Kate and Clayton, she’s looking for love again on “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 8.
Now, Kate is stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where she opened up about her immediate connection with Logan.
While Kate had an initial spark with Jacob, she said that her feelings for Logan were always there.
She told co-hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young, “When I got down there, I didn’t have my eye on Jacob at all. I was honestly wondering where Michael A. was, but he was on a date with Danielle. I was wondering about him.”
And while she was interested in Michael A., Kate said she was caught off guard by her strong connection with Logan.

She said, “You know when you come across someone and you feel that instant gravitational pull that you can’t really explain? Maybe it’s chemistry, maybe it’s pheromones — who knows? I felt that way towards Logan.”
Kate went on, saying, “I tried to play it cool and we were just talking and laughing, but then I was like, what about this guy? Things moved so fast and Sarah took him on a date, so I thought maybe the window was closed.”
And while her connection with Logan has become stronger than her connection with Jacob, Kate only had positive things to say about Jacob.
She said, “He just has such a sweet disposition and is such a positive guy. He is easy to laugh with and being around him wasn’t something that felt like it took a lot of work. I enjoyed getting to know him in that way.”
