Nikki Ferrell Welcomes Baby Boy River and Shares He Spent Time in the NICU
Congrats to the new mama!
Bachelor Nation fans first met Nikki on Season 18 of “The Bachelor,” where she received the Final Rose from Juan Pablo Galavis.
The two ended up splitting up in 2014 and Nikki met her now husband Tyler Vanloo shortly after.
Nikki and Tyler got engaged in January 2016 and were married on October 8, 2016.
And in June, Nikki took to Instagram to reveal that they were expecting their first child together.

Now their baby boy is finally here!
The Bachelor Nation star posted photos from the delivery room and revealed that her son had to spend some time in the NICU.
Alongside the photos, Nikki wrote, “11•15•22. River Thomas Vanloo made his fashionably late yet very dramatic entrance into the world. He managed to give us quite the scare but also might have set the record for shortest NICU admission. Riv we couldn’t love you any more if we tried, baby boy.”
We’re so glad that both Nikki and River are okay!
She also took to her Stories to show some love to her husband Tyler, and wrote, “This guy right here has been the best support, a true teammate, and the best dad. My heart could burst thinking about how lucky I am to have you these last few days.”
Many of Nikki’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars commented on her post sending their well wishes and congrats.
Former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman wrote, “Awwwww congrats to you and Tyler!!!! Ahhh he is so perfect! Sending so much love from the instant River fan club!”
Fellow mom Jade Roper Tolbert chimed in, saying, “Congrats, Nikki and Tyler!! River is just perfect.”
And Sharleen Joynt wrote, “He is absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations you two!!!!”
