Wells Adams Writes Emotional Post on Dog Carl’s Passing: ‘Trying to Type This Through Tears’

If you follow Bachelor Nation star Wells Adams on social media, you’ve definitely gotten to know his other half, and no, we’re not talking about his wife Sarah Hyland.
We’re talking about his dog Carl. Carl has his own Instagram page, Carl the Bloodhound, which has over 33,000 followers, where Wells kept fans updated on his beloved pup.
And over the weekend, Wells took to social media to share the heartbreaking news that Carl passed away.
Alongside photos with his sweet dog, Wells wrote, “Trying to type this through tears, but it’s with a heavy heart I must tell you that @carlthebloodhound has gone to doggy heaven. Carl, you were such a good guy. A true gentle giant.”

He went on, saying, “You were sweet, noisy, protective, and slobbery, and boy did you give the best hugs! You were the best boy I’ve ever known. I hope you thought I was a good dad. We’ve been through so much and I there’s no way I would be here without you. Carlos the blooder, know that mom, dad, and boo love you forever.”

Wells concluded his post with an emotional farewell to his best buddy, writing, “I hope you visit me all the time in my dreams to play tug of war. My jogs will never be the same but I’ll make sure to stop by the trees where the squirrels are in case you’re still running with me. You’ll always be my big ole hounder. I love you.”
Many of Wells’ fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments of his post with love and their condolences.

JoJo Fletcher wrote, “Ugh Wells, so sorry my friend. My heart is shattered for you. You loved him so well – he will always be with you.”
Ben Higgins added, “Wells, I am so sorry. He was the best boy. My goodness was he loved well and cared for. Thinking about you buddy.”
And Kaitlyn Bristowe chimed in, saying, “NO. My heart. It’s broken for you. I’m so sorry. He will forever visit you.”
