Love overseas!

Bachelor Nation star Kendall Long introduced fans to her boyfriend Mitchell Sagely in April of this year.

Then, in October, Kendall revealed that the two were moving to Germany together and are excited to be living in Europe. And last month, Kendall took to Instagram to reveal that the two are engaged!

Now, the Bachelor Nation star is stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where she opened up about their life in Germany so far.

Kendall discussed the many different German foods she’s tried, which she has also been documenting on social media.

The Bachelor Nation star said, “At first I was worried that I wouldn’t really like the German food. I hadn’t heard much about Germany’s food culture. I knew there was a lot of potatoes and pretzels and stuff, but their food is really good.”

She went on, sharing that Germany also has great cuisine from cultures around the world.

Kendall shared, “They have a big Italian community here, so the Italian food is great. There is this sushi place we love around the corner from where we are, and there’s a big Asian influence here. The first week we were here, we went out to eat all the time because we didn’t have anywhere else to go and it didn’t disappoint. It’s been very interesting! Certain foods I tried I’d never tried before, but I loved it.”

The Bachelor Nation star also talked about her first Christmas in Germany and experiencing their very unique tradition of Krampus Fest.

As for their holiday plans, Kendall said, “I’m already planning to get a Christmas tree and decorate things here. It’s sad because I’m so close with my family and Mitch is so close with his family. Being away from family during the holidays is going to be incredibly difficult.”

She continued on, saying, “Mitch’s birthday is also the 19th, so we’re going to celebrate his birthday first and Christmas is shortly after. I’m excited, though, to have my first Christmas with Mitch as newly engaged. Last year, our first real date was the day after Christmas. This is full circle!”
