Raven & Adam Gottschalk Celebrate Son Gates’ 1st Birthday: ‘These Pictures Made Me Cry!’
One year of Gates!
Bachelor Nation fan-favorite couple Raven Gates Gottschalk and Adam Gottschalk welcomed Gates, their first child together, on January 18, 2022.
Since then, they’ve been keeping fans up to date with their parenting journey on social media.
Now, the couple is celebrating their son’s first birthday with adorable posts.
Adam took to Instagram and shared a series of photos of their baby boy and wrote, “Happy 1st birthday Gates! You have already flew on a plane over 6 times, have a passport, a college account, credit card, full set of golf clubs, and a life full of adventures ahead of you. I’m so proud to be your Dad and I’ll always have your back, nugget!”
Raven commented on the post, writing, “These pictures just made me cry!”

Raven also took to her Instagram Stories and shared a photo cuddling with her son and wrote, “If you need me… I’ll just be over here soaking up the last day before he turns 1 year old!”
She also shared sweet videos of Adam and Gates playing at the park and wrote, “Park fun with mom and daddy!”
And she shared her own post writing, "Happy 1 year to my sweet baby. He brings sunshine into a room with his smile & sweet demeanor. He’s off the charts big & he bulldozes his way through anything to get what he wants but is also as sweet as pie. I rock him to sleep every night cherishing these moments because I know one day he won’t let me hold him like this. What a beautiful gift it is being your mommy. Adam, now let’s go have more babies."
