Tyler Norris & Nate Mitchell Share Why They Think Zach Shallcross Will Be a Great Bachelor
Spreading the love!
Fans first met Bachelor Nation stars Tyler Norris, Nate Mitchell, and Zach Shallcross on Season 19 of “The Bachelorette.”
Now Tyler and Nate are hyping up their guy Zach as he heads into his very own season of “The Bachelor.”
Tyler and Nate stopped by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast, where they told co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serene Russell why they think Zach is going to be a great lead.
Nate started off by saying, “When he came back from his first one-on-one, he had tears in his eyes from how passionate and genuine he was. I came back from my one-on-one and the guy stayed up until 1 or 2 in the morning just to see how it went. That’s genuinely the kind of person he is. He’s just so thoughtful, he knows what he wants, he’s extremely mature, and I think that people will see that.”
Nate went on, saying that there is a lot more to Zach that viewers haven’t gotten to know yet.

He said, “You didn’t get to see too much of all of our personalities because of the two leads and how the time was split. It was really hard to see everyone, but Zach has so much depth to him and I think people are going to really fall in love with him on his journey here. I have talked to him after the show and I don’t know exactly what happened, but I’ve been trying to prod him and poke him to give me any type of information. I think it’s going to be a really good season. I’m so excited to see it.”
Tyler totally agreed with Nate and shared some of his own insight about why he thinks Zach will make an awesome Bachelor.
Tyler shared some behind-the-scenes details about being one of Rachel’s final few men alongside Zach.
He said, “One of the cool things was that we had so much respect for each other. Knowing that ultimately one of the other guys would end up with Rachel, if it wasn’t going to be me, I was hoping it would be someone who would treat her right. Zach was one of the guys who I knew was such a sweetheart and would do anything for her.”
Tyler also added, “He’s a very smart guy, he’s quirky, he’s hilarious, and when it was my time to go with Rachel, I knew it would be Tino, Aven, or Zach. At the time, I knew Zach was someone who’d be a great fit for Rachel at the end of the day because of who he is. We learned so much about each other.”

Tyler continued on and spilled some tea about a wine night he and Zach had with some of the other men on Season 19 of “The Bachelorette.”
“We had a full-on wine night with the guys and we were getting into our feelings and why we were there. One thing Zach talked about was how he used to be a college football player and how he was over 300 pounds as an offensive lineman. He was talking about how he struggled with loving himself and he knew that in order to give his love to someone else, he had to love himself,” Tyler shared.
Tyler went on, saying, “Zach was able to get to that point, but that’s why it took him a long time to put himself out there. Just seeing how vulnerable he can be and how he can express who he is, knowing he’s the Bachelor is a perfect fit. He’s ready and he’s a stand-up guy. I have a great relationship with him. He still checks in with me. That’s just who he is.”
We couldn’t agree more with all the love and can’t wait to watch Zach’s journey unfold starting on Monday, January 23, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
