Madison Reveals If She Regrets Kissing Zach During Night 1 of ‘The Bachelor’
Bachelor Nation fans met Madison on night one of Zach’s season of “The Bachelor.”
While Zach and Madison had a good first conversation, it was clear the two didn’t have an initial spark when she went back to talk to him again.
The two shared a kiss that didn’t go how either of them were hoping, and after being sent home before the Rose Ceremony on night one, Madison stopped by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast, where she revealed whether she has any regrets.
Madison opened up to co-hosts Joe Amabile and Susie Evans, saying that she doesn’t regret pulling Zach for a second time and knows that everything happens for a reason.
However, she did say, “I do wonder if I didn’t pull him that second time, would things have been different? I know, though, that he wasn’t my person, though, so why prolong it? I don’t regret making that decision, but I do regret some of the tears I shed.”
Madison also clarified the comment she made on the show about the sacrifices she made to put her life on hold and go on the show.

She said, “A comment I made about giving up my life for him, there was so much emotion within that comment. It’s not that I gave up my life for a man I’d never met. It was that I put my life on hold to pursue a chance at love with someone who might be that person.”
Madison went on, saying, “I knew exactly what I was getting myself into, and at the end of the day it didn’t work out. In hindsight, it is the truth, I did have to take a hit for my business and my employees couldn’t handle everything when I was away. I own my own business.”
She said that she put her entire life on hold for this opportunity and said she stands by what she said, adding, “It’s true, you do have to sacrifice a lot in order to put the opportunity into reality.”
Susie and Joe asked Madison more about her kiss with Zach and whether she regrets going back for that moment.
Madison said, “If I would regret anything, it would be that kiss. We had a conversation about not forcing things and it was reiterated later in the evening. I believed in that, but in that moment, I didn’t think I was talking to him for the second time just for that kiss. It wasn’t my end goal. I just really did want time with him.”
The Bachelor Nation star continued on, saying, “There were other things going on throughout the night that led me to that second interruption. With the kiss, it was the defining moment for me that this wasn’t it. There were no sparks. That’s what I was hoping for. I don’t know what it’s like to kiss on national television, so even that alone was just weird. It was a defining moment for the trajectory for the rest of the evening.”
