Katie Thurston Reminds Bachelor Nation Fans to ‘Be Kind’ to Zach & His Women
An important reminder!
Bachelor Nation fans saw Zach Shallcross and his women kick off their “Bachelor” journey this week.
Many fans and fellow Bachelor Nation stars are already chiming in on social media about this season.
One person who is speaking out is former Bachelorette Katie Thurston, and she’s reminding people to be kind to the people you see on your screens.
Katie was on a livestream and caught a negative comment about our Bachelor Zach.
She quickly said, “Whoever just said something mean about Zach, don’t do that. Being in the spotlight is so hard. I just want to remind you guys to not say bad sh*t about any of the contestants online. There is nothing accomplished by putting it on their profile, by DMing them, or by commenting on another profile.”

Katie went on, adding, “It just boggles my mind when strangers feel a release by typing out a negative thing for other strangers to read. The mental health of the contestants year after year feels like it’s impacted more and more. It makes me nervous for the future contestants going forward.”
The former Bachelorette reminded fans how much easier it is to just be kind or say nothing.
“For a lot of these people, this is the first time that they’ve ever been in the spotlight. So this is just a reminder to stay kind. It’s a hard thing for these contestants to go through,” Katie explained.
