Check out their exclusive interview with BachelorNation.com below!
Bachelor Nation: First of all, happy first birthday to your little one Gates, and congrats on expecting baby number two! Such an exciting time filled with love. Speaking of love, is there a type of food you find to be the most romantic?

Raven Gates: Thank you so much! Love you guys!
Adam Gottschalk: Thank you! We both love a good sushi dinner with a little bit of wine or sake (or just water when Raven is pregnant haha).
BN: Sounds like a great date night meal! What is your favorite meal your significant other has made for you?
RG: Adam’s favorite that I make him is a goat cheese shakshuka and my favorite that Adam has made is a cheesy pasta. He made it for me all of the time while we were dating. It’s his own concoction of cheeses and spices and it’s delicious!
BN: Those both sound delicious! What is your favorite meal you’ve made for your significant other?
RG: Adam loves my Southern cooking but prefers I only do it on occasion because it can be a little unhealthy (but oh so delicious!), so I would say my favorite to cook for him is my classic Southern fried chicken. I serve it with my special green bean recipe, homemade biscuits, and of course mashed potatoes with brown gravy. He basically will lick the plate clean, haha!
AG: It’s true!!! It’s sooo good. She’s a great chef.

BN: Raven, you’re going to have to make that for us some time! Do you two have any plans for a romantic Valentine’s Day meal?
RG: Yes! This recipe is one of both of our favorites and it comes from “The Comfortable Kitchen” by Alex Snodgrass. It’s called Clayton’s Favorite Mustard Salmon. It is phenomenal. The ingredients and instructions are below. Enjoy and happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!
Mustard Sauce:
In a small bowl, stir 2 tablespoons grainy mustard, 1 tablespoon Dijon, 1 tablespoon brine of pepperoncini, and 1 teaspoon thyme leaves. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Cauliflower Purée:
In a medium saucepan, combine 4 cups cauliflower florets, 2 garlic cloves, 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth, 1 teaspoon thyme, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Bring to boil over medium-high heat and reduce the heat to simmer. Cover and cook until cauliflower is fork tender (12 to 14 minutes).
Transfer cauliflower and contents of saucepan to blender. Add 1/4 cup unsweetened full-fat coconut milk. Blend for 30 seconds. Cover to keep warm.
Salmon:
Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in nonstick pan. Pat 4 center-cut salmon fillets dry (6 ounces) with skin removed and season sides of salmon with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Sear until golden brown (about 3 minutes each side). Flip salmon and cook to desired dryness (4 minutes for well done). Set salmon in plate and set aside.
Crispy Shallots:
Reduce heat under the skillet to medium-low. (Add 1 tablespoon of oil if needed.) In a small bowl, combine 2 large shallots, thinly sliced, 2 tablespoons of cassava flour, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt until coated. Work in batches as needed, spread shallots into a single layer in the skillet and fry until crisp (2 to 3 minutes), flipping halfway through. Move to plate with paper towel to soak up extra oil.
To Serve:
Smear the cauliflower purée onto individual plates, spreading it into a thin layer. Place salmon on top. Spoon mustard sauce over the salmon and top with the crispy shallots!
