In our thoughts.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Vinny Ventiera on Season 12 of “The Bachelorette,” and he returned to our screens for Seasons 3 and 4 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Now, Vinny just took to Instagram to share the sad news that his dad passed away in an emotional post.
Alongside a collage of photos with his dad, Vinny wrote, “Over the weekend I lost my biggest fan, my bodyguard, my hype man and most of all my Dad. Going to miss the phone calls of you busting my chops everyday, calling me; Vinny Boy, The Irish guy, Hollywood, Vinny dumps, asking me how everything is going “are you making money?”, “do I gotta send somebody down there and straighten em im out?!” Never a dull conversation with him.”
Vinny thanked his dad for so many special memories, like going fishing together.

He went on, saying, “Not a weekend goes by where I don’t get a person messaging me on social media saying that they have met you out and about and all you could do is mention how proud you were of me & as well ‘look up my son, Vinny V on the internet he’s hollywood, my son, my son, where’d do you think he got his looks from.’ Thank you for being the toughest guy I knew, teaching me to make sure I shook peoples hands.”
And Vinny concluded his emotional tribute with a reminder to everyone reading his post.
The Bachelor Nation star wrote, “Wish I could see your phone call pop up one last time. Keep fishing and living life at 110%! Love you forever ‘Richie!’ You’re one and only. Call your loved ones everyday, life comes too fast. If you knew my dad he loved being the center of attention so this post is for remembering the good times we’ve all had together. -Vin”
