‘The Bachelor’s’ Kaity Shares What Happened on Her Overnight Date with Zach: ‘I Got No Sleep’

Bachelor Nation fans are watching Kaity and Zach’s journey to find love unfold on this season of “The Bachelor.”
Now, Kaity is stopping by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast to open up about her one-on-one date with Zach.
During their date, Zach famously asked Kaity to spend the night with him at the museum, which was a Bachelor Nation first for a date so early on in the season.
Co-hosts Joe Amabile and Aaron Clancy asked Kaity what staying in the museum overnight with Zach was like.

She said, “I was super shocked when he asked me to spend the night at the museum. Super excited, though. I know that doesn’t really happen on the show. I didn’t really know what to think of it at the time, but when we walked around the corner and saw the camp set up with the tent, I was blown away. I thought it was so cute and so romantic.”
And while the date was super special, Kaity said it actually wasn’t very easy for her to sleep in that environment
Kaity explained, “The thing with me, though, I’m really bad at sleeping. I usually have a white noise machine and all this stuff. So sleeping in that tent wasn’t it. It wasn’t the play for me. You could hear construction in the distance, Zach was kind of snoring a little bit, and I just couldn’t sleep. Hence why I was like, ‘I got no sleep.’ I think Zach got a little bit of sleep, but not me.”
Aaron asked Kaity if they really pushed the beds together and what they were talking about all night.

Kaity said, “Heck yeah, we pushed the beds together. It was actually quite chilly in there, so we had to pull the beds together for survival! I remember we were having a conversation and he was like, ‘Okay, goodnight,’ and I was like, ‘What?!’ So I started talking again because I didn’t think I heard that right and then he said goodnight again.”
As for the “no sleep” of it all, Kaity said that nothing intimate happened between her and Zach during their date.
She shared, “Nothing happened for those who think something happened. I didn’t get sleep because I had such a hard time sleeping, not because of anything else. The other girls can also attest to the fact that I always have a hard time sleeping.”
