Zach’s Biggest Regret Watching His Season Back: ‘I Failed Myself, I Failed That Person
Spilling the tea!
Bachelor Nation fans are watching Zach Shallcross’ journey to find love unfold every Monday night on “The Bachelor.”
Now our leading man stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where he opened up to co-hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young about his experience watching the show back.
Zach got candid about one moment that played out differently from what he remembered during filming.
The Bachelor said, “One thing that comes to memory is what happened in Estonia with Kat pulling me out to the hallway before Charity’s one-on-one date. I didn’t know what had followed and what was the reality for the girls for the week or so afterwards. I didn’t know it caused such issues or conflict within the women the way that it did.”

Zach went on, sharing, “I thought it was just something that happened, but then the next day we’re on a date and traveling to the next location, so I didn’t know how much stress that caused or about the fighting that had happened. I didn’t learn that until I watched the episode really.”
Becca and Michelle asked Zach if watching back the experience has made have any regrets or if he’s confident in the decisions he made.
Zach explained, “I definitely have looked back and looked at quite a few situations and know I could’ve handled it way better.”

He continued on saying, “The decisions of having to send someone home, I stand by those because I’m feeling out who my person could be, but to get to that point, there were a few interactions where I look back and see that I failed myself, I failed that person, and it’s not necessarily who I am. I want to get better from it. The decisions I don’t regret, but not the way I’ve handled some of them.”
