Lauren Luyendyk Reveals If She Went on ‘The Bachelor’ Specifically for Arie: ‘I Had to Go to Find Out’

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk got engaged on Season 22 of “The Bachelor,” and the two later tied the knot in 2019.
Since then, they’ve welcomed three children: Alessi and fraternal twins Senna and Lux.
Now, Lauren just took to her Instagram Stories for an Instagram Q&A where she revealed the real reason she went on Season 22 of “The Bachelor.”
During the Q&A, one fan asked, “Did you go on ‘The Bachelor’ specifically for Arie because you had met previously? I want to know more!”
Lauren got candid with her answer, saying, “Sooo we met three months prior to us both being cast at the show at a race randomly. We just said hi and then went our separate ways. Then, I was asked to be on the show and had to watch ‘Good Morning America’ to find out who the Bachelor was.”

She went on, saying, “I thought it was going to be between Dean or Peter, so I was shocked when I saw Arie walk out on that stage. At that point, I felt like I had to go to find out if it was meant to be or just a coincidence… and here we are!”
How sweet!
During the Q&A, Lauren also revealed what memory she wishes she could go back and relive.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “I know this is cliché, but our wedding day. It was the most magical day of my life and it went by so quickly!”
Another fan said they saw Arie and Lauren out to dinner but was too nervous to say hello and Lauren said to always say hi!
She wrote, “Always come say hi! We love meeting new people! Sometimes we get stressed out when we’re out with the kids and they’re having a moment, but you can always come help too lol!”
