Sarah Herron Tries Out New Prosthetic Arm: ‘Can Finally Hold Dylan’s Hand’
Exciting innovation.
Bachelor Nation first met Sarah Herron on Season 17 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens for Seasons 1 and 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the Bachelor Nation shows, Sarah has been extremely open with fans about important topics like fertility, egg freezing, limb differences, and mental health.
She’s shared how she can do everything with one hand, but the Bachelor Nation star just posted an exciting update on her prosthetic arm.
Sarah has been candid about how she is curious if using a prosthetic arm might make parenting a baby a bit easier down the road.
This week, the Bachelor Nation star took to her Instagram Stories to share that she got a COVVI prosthetic hand.
According to their website, the COVVI Hand is “the most advanced of its kind for the intuitive default grip patterning, in addition to the grip-mapping capabilities that allow the user to input custom-made gesturing into their device.”
Sarah shared a photo wearing hers and said she “can finally hold Dylan’s hand while we drive!”
She also added that it’s “going to take some practice with this COVVI hand, but I’m excited that it’s coming home with me today!”
Sarah shared another photo of her trying to use the fingers and said, “The socket still doesn’t fit quite right, and the frame of the arm isn’t complete, but they let me bring it home to start practicing and building strength.”
How cool!
