This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Andi Dorfman Receives a Letter from a Secret Admirer

This week in Bachelor Nation history, we’re looking back on Season 10 Bachelorette Andi Dorfman’s journey.
During Season 10, episode 4, Andi and 10 of her men went on a fun basketball-themed group date.
Andi and her suitors were joined by WNBA All-Stars, who totally schooled the guys on the court.
Eventually, the guys were split up into two groups, with Brian, Eric, Cody, Marque, and Nick taking on Josh, JJ, Chris, Patrick, and Tasos in a heated game for more time with Andi.
The first group of five dominated, winning a smaller after-party with their Bachelorette.
Before the cocktail party, though, Andi headed up to her hotel room, where she was seen wondering whether she would actually find what she was looking for on this journey.
She wa surprised by a knock on her door and received a special delivery — a mysterious love note.
How exciting!
While we didn’t find out during this episode who sent the love note, Andi started to receive more of these letters throughout her journey as the Bachelorette.
Eventually, fans learned that one of her suitors, Chris Soules, was her secret admirer all along.
After a later lie detector test date, the truth came out and Chris came clean about sending Andi love letters.
He said, “I haven’t been fully honest with you and I was afraid you’d find out during the lie detection test. I am the secret admirer. Everything I wrote in those letters was true. I am relieved to tell you and now I’m smiling. It feels awesome to have put myself out there completely in every sense of the word.”
So sweet.
Andi said, “I knew it! You just have that sentimental side. Out of all the guys, I’m glad it was you. I can really see that you have that romantic side and you have these feelings and know how to communicate them.”
Chris ended up making it to Fantasy Suites with Andi, but she broke up with him before they could spend the night together.
Andi revealed that she didn’t see herself moving to Iowa to be with Chris, and aside from that, there was still something missing in their connection.
Chris went on to be the next Bachelor and had his own secret admirer on the very first night of his season.
