Haley Ferguson Gets Candid About Starting IVF Journey: ‘It Wasn’t an Easy Decision’
Opening up.
Bachelor Nation star Haley Ferguson married her Finnish hockey player fiancé Oula Palve last June and the two have been loving the newlywed life ever since.
Haley’s twin sister Emily also got married last year and just welcomed her first child with husband William Karlsson.
And amid all the excitement over Emily’s new baby boy, Haley just got candid about her experience with infertility.
The Bachelor Nation star took to Instagram and wrote, “Already in our hearts. Someday in our arms. After a year of trying and two failed IUI’s we’ve made the tough choice to start IVF. It wasn’t an easy decision to make but with a blocked fallopian tube and low ovarian reserve this is the safest/best choice for us.”
Haley continued on, saying, “Thankful that IVF is an option and I’m manifesting motherhood! Infertility has been the toughest thing I’ve gone through. I’ve gone through so many emotions…mad at my body, wanting to give up, wondering why me but I know we will get through this and our time is coming. I hope you’ll keep us in your thoughts and prayers! Follow along for updates as I will be sharing my IVF journey with you all!”
Haley’s comment section was filled with love and support from fellow Bachelor Nation stars and fans.
The following day, she took to TikTok to share a video of her first day of at-home injections.
Haley wrote, “Day 1 of stims. I was overwhelmed prepping only two injections, watched the videos at least 3 times to make sure I was doing everything right. Crazy how they let you inject these meds yourself! I hope I did it right. Wasn’t sure what to expect and they burned a little bit overall not too bad.”
Amanda Stanton commented on Haley’s postm writing, “Love you sweet Hales ❤️ thinking of you and praying for you.”
And fellow IVF mama Astrid Loch added, “You got this 🤍”
We couldn’t agree more with all the love and support and know that Haley sharing her journey so openly will help so many others.
