Joe Amabile & Serena Pitt Discuss If Bachelor Nation Leads Should Say ‘I Love You’
Keeping it real.
“Bachelor Happy Hour” co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt recapped this week’s episode of “The Bachelorette” and discussed the sweet moments between Charity and her men.
Joe and Serena talked about how many of the men shared that they are falling in love with Charity this week and they revealed whether they think leads should say “I love you” back to their suitors.
During his historic second one-on-one date in a row, Dotun told Charity that he was falling in love with her, and Joe said, “I believe him and I think she wanted to hear that. We know when there are still multiple people, leads don’t really say it.”
Serena chimed in, saying, “I thought she was going to say it back to him and she didn’t say it back to Joey or Dotun and that did throw me off a little bit.”
Joe revealed why he doesn’t think leads should say “I love you” too soon or to more than one person.
He said, “I don’t think leads really should because you know who did do that? Clayton. He was literally screaming from the rooftops ‘I love you’ to everyone and wanted to do it his way. He was like, ‘I love all of you’ and it backfired.”
Serena added, “Clayton just had a lot of love in his heart to share and didn’t want to hold it in. But you’re right, I think Charity probably made the right move to hold some of that in.”
Joe said there are other ways leads can show they feel it too based on how they react to hearing those three special words.
The co-host said, “I think it’s on the lead then to express to them that they heard the ‘I love you’ or ‘I’m falling in love with you’ and it didn’t fall on deaf ears. Like when Sean came in and said it, but she was like, no.”
Joe and Serena teased they are going to be sitting down with Charity this week for an exclusive interview on “Bachelor Happy Hour,” so make sure to tune in.
