Clare Crawley Celebrates 2 Years Since Breast Implant Removal Surgery: ‘I Was Slowly Dying’

If you’ve been keeping up with former Bachelorette Clare Crawley’s journey, you may remember she underwent breast implant removal surgery in 2021.
Clare revealed she was struggling with breast implant illness and experienced chronic symptoms like a persistent itchy rash on her upper body and a low white blood cell count.
Now, Clare is taking to Instagram to reflect on how far she’s come over the past two years since her surgery.
Alongside a video compilation from her road to recovery, Clare wrote, “2 years ago today. For years I was slowly dying on the inside while my breast implants were leaking into my body. I refused to let that happen, so I made the decision to take them out and begin to heal! There has not been a day or even a minute that has gone by that I regret it!”
The former Bachelorette also went on to thank her fellow Bachelor Nation star Caroline Lunny, who had the same surgery, for pointing her in the right direction for the best care.
Clare said, “There is also not enough thank you’s and love that I can give to @carolinelunny for pointing me to @dee.hicks_explant_liaison who then got me in with the most incredible surgeon @davidrankinmd. So much love + gratitude as I am all in my feels tonight.”
Caroline commented on Clare’s video, writing, “One of the best things we ever did for ourselves!! Love you sweet friend xoxo.”
Former fellow Bachelorette Emily Maynard also commented on Clare’s post, sharing that she will be getting the same surgery soon, writing, “Love this so much! Can’t wait for my turn!”
Clare responded to Emily, saying, “If there’s anything else I can help with let me know!!”
