Looking back!

Comedian, podcaster, and Bachelor Nation superfan Jared Freid stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast this week for a candid conversation with co-hosts Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile.

During their conversation, Joe and Serena asked Jared who would be on his all-time Bachelor Nation Mount Rushmore.

For this game, Jared had to pick his top four favorite Bachelor Nation stars that would be on his very own Bachelor Nation Mount Rushmore.

Jared started off saying, “My Mount Rushmore would be — I was a huge JoJo fan. I couldn’t have been a bigger fan of her and her comfy, cozy sweaters she used to wear. That was a big thing for me. She used to always wear these sweaters and looked real cozy. I would also say that guy Chad from her season was also so wild.”

He went on, adding, “I loved watching Clare. Clare on her own season, you could tell why dating was kind of difficult for her. You watched the way she goes through these things. I mean, dating again is hard. I’m 37 and single. I talk about it in my comedy special. I mention that I’m the issue. Clare didn’t have it really fair. The audience didn’t like Clare because they made it out to be this elder Bachelorette and she was around 35, like, f*ck off. Her promo was the Dustin Hoffman movie ‘The Graduate’ and I was like, I’m older than this person. Am I going to pass away soon? I really liked watching Clare, though.”

And to round out his list, Jared said, “I will also say Arie. He was one of those underrated Bachelors. The way his season ended with Becca and Lauren, that was one of the more wild endings to any season. The idea that he signed up for that.”

Joe and Serena joked that they were bummed not to be on Jared’s list, but Jared explained how he made his decision.

He said, “I’m giving my most memorable moments Mount Rushmore at this point. Nothing against you guys, I just love the messiness of it all. When the show gets messy is when I’m so in it. Again, Pilot Pete’s mom might also be on this Mount Rushmore for me. She was just such an intricate part of his season in a way that was chef’s kiss. There was nothing like Pilot Pete’s mom.”
