Wells Adams Discusses Officiating Joe & Serena’s Wedding and If He’d Do It Again for Other Bachelor Nation Couples
Opening up.
Last weekend, Wells Adams served as the officiant for Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt’s wedding day.
The couple first met on the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise,” where Wells served them cocktails and advice, now, years later, he was the one to help them make their marriage official.
Wells stopped by Serena and Joe’s “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast and opened up about being their officiant.
The couple asked Wells if he would ever do it again and he said, “Hell yeah, I’d do it again. I had the most fun.”
Joe shared that Wells put in a lot of hard work preparing for the wedding and what he’d say on their big day.
And Wells chimed in, saying, “Here’s the thing. If it was a Bachelor Nation couple that I didn’t really know, I might be like, ‘I think Jesse should do this and not me.’ But for me, it was really wonderful. It was this full-circle moment.”
Wells continued on, saying, “Joe, you and I have done a couple shows together, and then I got to see your guys’ relationship a couple years ago in ‘Paradise.’ I was there on the last day, and I’m not usually there on the last day, but your season was a season that I was hosting at the end. So I had to be there and I had to film the outro and everything. I have these pictures of us on that day and of you guys. Getting to be there to marry you guys was this really wonderful full-circle moment for me.”
The Bachelor Nation bartender also shared that he would be open to officiating for other couples that he knows.
Wells said, “Yes, it is a pain in the ass, but it was a labor of love. I loved it. I am so happy that I got to do it. Now I want to be like, ‘Does anyone in Bachelor Nation need me to marry them? I won’t be free like I was for Joe and Serena, but let’s go.’ Maybe this is a new job for me!”
