Shanae Ankney Announces She’s Pregnant: ‘Cannot Wait to Become a Girl Mom’
Congrats to the future mama!
Bachelor Nation fans first met Shanae Ankney on Season 26 of “The Bachelor,” and she later appeared on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Earlier this year, Shanae hard launched her new relationship with former NFL player Nate Ebner.
Now, she just took to Instagram to reveal that they are expecting their first child together!
On Monday, alongside photos of the two of them revealing pink frosting inside a cupcake, Shanae wrote, “I cannot wait to become a girl mom 🎀🧸🩷 baby Ebner arriving April 2024 ✨.”
Shanae told People that she found out she was pregnant in July.
She said, "I knew I was pregnant before I even took the test. I just had a gut feeling. We waited and waited for the double lines to show up, and boom! The double lines appeared. Nate and I were looking at each other, just smiling and in awe."
The Bachelor Nation star also shared why they decided to do a low key gender reveal just the two of them.
She said, "Instead of opening the results from the doctor, we took the results to a bakery to have cupcakes made with either pink or blue colors to find out the gender once we bit into them. Nate and I did a little reveal together with just the two of us. I wanted something more intimate due to it being our first pregnancy."
