Amid his journey to meet the second love of his life, Gerry has had many romantic dates with the women vying for his heart.
With both Leslie and Faith, Gerry has shared romantic one-on-one dates that involved a hot tub, and fans got a peek at Gerry’s tattoo.
Many people have been wondering what the lion inked on Gerry’s upper arm could mean and now we finally have the answer.
The Golden Bachelor stopped by for a chat with Glamour, where he played a round of rapid-fire questions with his cast.
One of the questions they were asked is “What is your life motto?”
Gerry got candid with his answer and revealed that his tattoo is a reminder of his life motto.
He said, “I actually have a tattoo and the tattoo reflects my life motto. It’s ‘never give up.’”
Lions are commonly used as a representation of “never giving up” because of the quote “Rise and rise again, till lambs become lions.”
We love Gerry’s ink and love the reminder to never give up. Gerry is an amazing reminder of that as he hasn’t given up on love even after losing his wife of over 40 years.
We hope he finds the happy ending he deserves and that lion tattoo will make him glad he didn’t give up!
