J.P. Rosenbaum Reveals He & Ashley Are ‘Better Than It’s Ever Been’ Since Divorce and Shares Dating Updates

Bachelor Nation stars Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum famously met on Season 7 of “The Bachelorette” and tied the knot on TV in 2012. In October 2020, the couple announced their decision to split following a monthslong separation.
Since their split, Ashley and J.P. have been focused on co-parenting their two children, son Ford and daughter Essie.
Now, J.P. just took to his Instagram Stories for a Q&A, where he opened up about where he and Ashley are and how his dating has been going.
One person asked if being divorced is hard and if the kids ask about it, and J.P. got candid, writing, “I think it’s different for everyone. I’m very fortunate that everything is amicable and we co-parent well! But yes, it was very hard at first, at least it was for me. Getting used to the new normal was challenging. And nah, the kids don’t ask about it anymore, they’re used to it by now!”
He also answered a fan question about how his relationship with Ashely is now, saying, “We’re in a good place right now… better than it’s ever been I’d say!”

And when someone asked J.P. if he’s dating and open to marrying again, he said, “Sure. (cryptic isn’t it?)” and went on, saying, “What matters most to me is the commitment and all that comes along with marriage. The legal side is just a piece of paper. As long as everything else is there, a wedding isn’t necessary, but yes, I would get married again.”
When it comes to what J.P. is looking for in a future partner, he said, “Just someone who loves omakase as much as I do.”
The Bachelor Nation star also shared what valuable lessons he’s learned these past few years.
He said, “Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Everyone can use a little therapy! Also, fill your life with moments that make you happy as often as you can! As you get older, life gets harder, life gets busy, and the last thing you want is to look back and think ‘what if…’ so no regrets!”
