Kaity Biggar Discusses ‘Going Back to the Hospital’ for a New Nursing Contract

Bachelor Nation fans met Kaity Biggar on Season 27 of “The Bachelor” when she got engaged to Zach Shallcross.
The two couldn’t be more in love and are enjoying their lives together in Austin, Texas.
Shortly after their time on “The Bachelor,” both Kaity and Zach went back to their full-time jobs, and Kaity has been continuing to work in the hospital as a travel nurse.
Over the past few weeks, she was between assignments, but she just took to TikTok to reveal she has a new nursing assignment and is going back to work.
In the video, the Bachelor Nation star discussed her new assignment and answered nursing questions.
She said, “Guys, I’m going back to the hospital for another contract and we’re going to talk all things nursing. Also, I got a new box of scrubs! As a Canadian, I work on a TN visa that allows me to work here in the United States. I drove all the way from Toronto, Ontario to San Antonio, Texas with my brother. It was a 28 hour drive. Yes, American nurses get paid way more than Canadian nurses.”
Kaity went on, sharing the challenges of being a travel nurse and how getting placed in new assignments works.
She said, “One of the most challenging things for me as a travel nurse was learning different charting systems at different hospitals. Travel nurses will usually sign on for a 13 week contract, you can get extended or you could not get extended. Also, on my travel assignments, I use Landing apartments because they furnish the whole thing for me, it’s so seamless and effortless.”
We love seeing Kaity thriving and loving her job as a nurse and we’re so grateful for the important work she’s doing!
