Sarah Herron Rides Mountain Bikes for the First Time with New Prosthetic Arm Ahead of IVF Transfer
Hitting the trails!
Bachelor Nation first met Sarah Herron on Season 17 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens for Seasons 1 and 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the Bachelor Nation shows, Sarah has been extremely open with fans about important topics like fertility, egg freezing, limb differences, and mental health.
She’s shared how she can do everything with one hand, but the Bachelor Nation star just posted how she used a prosthetic arm to help her mountain bike for the first time!
Sarah took to Instagram and shared photos from her trip to Wente Vineyards in Northern California where she and her husband Dylan Brown tried riding mountain mikes.
Alongside the pics, she wrote, “My first mountain bike ride is in the books! My new mountain bike is awesome and turns quite a few heads… or maybe it’s my carbon fiber prosthetic arm that catches people’s attention… either way!”
Sarah continued on, “Yesterday we explored the trails of Livermore, CA and I’m catching on really quickly! I LOVE IT although I definitely have to walk my bike up most hills still… baby steps. I tried some single track, but was in way over my head and prefer the wide paths! We capped the day off with some wine tasting at @wente vineyards. I could get used to this life!”
The Bachelor Nation star shared that the bike was by Revel Bikes and her prosthetic arm was made by the Hanger Clinic.
Sarah also revealed that while she’s up in Northern California, she’s going in for another round of IVF with her doctor, Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh aka the Egg Whisperer.
We’re sending Sarah all the good vibes and we can’t wait to see her out on the mountain again!
