Lauren & Arie Luyendyk Reveal How Their Age Gap Impacts Their Relationship

Spilling the tea.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk got engaged on Season 22 of “The Bachelor,” and the two later tied the knot in 2019.
Since then, they’ve welcomed three children: Alessi and twins Senna and Lux.
Now, Lauren is taking to Instagram for a Q&A about their family and their relationship and she’s opening up.
One fan asked how their age gap affects their relationship, as Arie is 42 and Lauren is 32.
Lauren got candid, saying, “I don’t always know the movies he references, but I feel like the gap actually makes us better. I love being married to a zaddy.”

The couple also opened up about traveling without their kiddos and finding help to watch their three babies while they are gone.
Currently the two are traveling to Santa Barbara, California, for a wedding without their kids.
Lauren said, “It can honestly be difficult to find help sometimes, but we don’t both leave together too often unless it’s for a date night or something. Right now, my sister is living with us so we have her, Arie’s parents, my amazing bestie, AND a babysitter. It takes a village.”
Another fan asked what made them get cats and Lauren said it was all their daughter Alessi’s idea.
She wrote, “This girl right here. I kept trying to talk her into a dog, but she insisted on a cat. I’d never had a cat in my life, but I will always be obsessed with Willow and French. It was a good call.”
How sweet!
We love hearing from Lauren and Arie and can’t get enough of their adorable family.
