Charity Lawson on Being Apart from Dotun Olubeko During ‘DWTS’ Tour and How She Prioritized Their Relationship

Bachelor Nation fans saw Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko fall in love and get engaged on Season 20 of “The Bachelorette.”
Since their time on the show, the two have been enjoying time together with their family and friends and living in Los Angeles while Charity competed on “Dancing with the Stars.”
The two recently moved to New York City and Charity is currently on tour with “Dancing with the Stars” for their official live show.
Now, Charity took to her Instagram Stories for a Q&A where she opened up about being on the road and her experience touring so far.
One fan asked how living on a tour bus has been and Charity got candid with her answer.
She said, “In all honesty, it’s fun for the first few days, then I’m like okay, I need my bed now. Sleeping isn’t the best, but it’s manageable. I brought my own pillow and sound machine. We don’t spend much time on the bus except when we go to sleep and when we wake up, we are already in another city.”
Charity went on, saying, “I got sick a few days into the tour (and still getting over it slowly), but it definitely is fast paced and different. Tour overall has been great and it goes by so fast. Kinda crazy to think I only have six cities left (Grand Rapids, Indianapolis, Nashville, Durham, Charlotte, and Atlanta).”
Another fan asked Charity how it’s been being away from her fiancé while on tour and Charity shared how she has been able to prioritize Dotun.
The former Bachelorette said, “Fortunately, I am only on tour for two weeks total and I have one week left. I purposely prioritized our relationship so I wouldn’t be away for too long. We are doing great!”
She went on, saying, “Dotun was actually at the Chicago show (y’all were so sweet to him) and will spend the next few days with me while I’m out here on the road.”
