Astrid Loch Reveals If She & Kevin Wendt Want More Babies: ‘We Do Have 1 Embryo Left’

Bachelor Nation stars Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt met on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” and the two welcomed their first child together in November 2021 and their second in November 2023.
Now, Astrid just took to her Instagram stories for a Q&A and opened up about their family of four and whether they want another baby.
Astrid first answered if it was harder for her to go from zero to one baby or one to two.
The mom said, “Depends on the day, but overall, for me, going from zero to one was way harder because you have to learn everything and so much of it is trial and error where with the second you already know what you’re doing so you can actually enjoy the infant stage so much more be you have the confidence to take it on.”
She went on, saying, “I think going from one to two is way harder for the dad (at least that’s the case in our house) because it truly becomes ‘divide and conquer’ which has been a big adjustment for Kev with his day to day.”
Astrid also opened up about if she and Kevin want to have more children in the future.
As fans who have been keeping up with Astrid and Kevin’s journey know that they welcomed their first two children via IVF.
So Astrid got candid, saying, “I feel like we make too cute of kids to not keep going but I’m not sure Kev is on board for a third at the moment because life is very very busy as it is. We do have one embryo left in the freezer so we will eventually have to decide what to do, but there are obviously no guarantees on if it would even work.”
Astrid continued saying, “It’s a bigger conversation for us than just deciding if we want to try again. If we had a failed transfer, I’d have to do a whole other retrieval and I’m not sure that I have that in me again, so if we say yes to a third we’d have to be prepared to start all over again with IVF.”
We love how open Astrid is about her family planning, and we know it helps so many others.
