‘The Bachelor’s’ Lexi Speaks Out After Self-Eliminating: ‘I Couldn’t Be More Thankful’
Opening up.
Bachelor Nation fans are getting to know Lexi on Season 28 of “The Bachelor,” where she opened up to Joey Graziadei about her journey with endometriosis.
Lexi eventually decided to self-eliminate from the show because she and Joey were on different timelines when it came to having kids.
With Lexi’s health condition, she wants to have kids sooner and Joey wants to wait a few years.
The two left on good terms and Lexi just took to Instagram to reflect on her experience and decision to leave.
Alongside photos of her and Joey, Lexi wrote, “My experience on @bachelorabc has been a whirlwind to say the least, but I couldn’t be more thankful that I pushed myself out of my comfort zone to take this leap of faith. I know this journey didn’t end quite how I expected it to, but I know and understand that everyone has their own timeline for their personal journey and these timelines don’t always align.”
She went on, saying, “Getting to share my endometriosis story and get the overwhelming response I received from each and every one of you means more than you’ll ever know. Every message I receive from a girl who has endo symptoms, an invisible illness, chronic pain, or infertility that I have been able to touch and help in even the smallest way has made everything worth it.”
Lexi also shared how grateful she is for how she got to tell her story on the show.
The Bachelor Nation star wrote, “Thank you to the producers for allowing me the opportunity to share my story to the world, for giving me a stage to help others, and for portraying my story in a way more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Thank you to Joey for showing me that a safe, non-judgmental, and kind love exists and is possible, and for setting the bar so high for my next relationship.”
She also thanked the amazing women she got to meet and become friends with through the show.
Lexi ended her post writing, “As one chapter closes, another begins. Here’s to self love and new beginnings.”
We know Lexi sharing her story will continue to help so many others going through something similar, and we’re so grateful she got to share her story on “The Bachelor.”
