Throwing it back!

As we watch Season 27 of “The Bachelor,” we’re looking back on some of the most iconic moments in Bachelor Nation history.

This week, we’re looking back on the moment that Ali Fedotowsky was named the next Bachelorette!

At the “After the Final Rose” live taping of Jake Pavelka’s finale where he proposed to Vienna Girardi, Ali was brought out to kick off her Bachelorette journey.

While Ali found love with Jake and left heartbroken, she was ready to start on her own journey to find the one.

As soon as she was announced, Ali said, “I’m so excited, so thrilled, so honored, and grateful. I just can’t believe it. I am just really thankful! I am shaking so badly, someone asked if I was cold, but I was just nervous but excited!”

During Jake’s season, Ali was a fan favorite, and during the “After the Finale Rose” taping, she shared how much the support meant to her.

She said, “It’s so nice to feel supported and it’s really wonderful. I feel so blessed, so thank you, Bachelor Nation fans. This hasn’t even sunk in yet. When I was first approached, I felt scared and went back to how I felt when I had to make the decision with Jake.”

Ali went on, saying, “I kept wondering why I was feeling this way again and I decided that I’m not gonna let my fear dictate my life anymore. I just need to find someone. I want to meet my person, fall in love, get married, and have kids! This is my chance, so I’m not gonna make the same mistake I did last time. I’m going for it!”

She also shared what she was looking for in a partner before starting on her Bachelorette journey.

Ali said, “First of all, I want 50 guys, not 25! I really want a funny, smart, and kind of quirky guy. In general, I’m not looking for a particular type of guy, I’m looking for a feeling. I think I’ll know that pretty soon. I know everyone goes into this saying they hope they’ll know right away, but I’m really putting it out there.”

And she revealed what she was looking forward to most on her season, saying, “I’m looking forward to the end the most. I’m looking forward to that last day when I get to be with my man. In the journey from being on ‘The Bachelor,’ I know it works and I know that I can find love.”
