Kelsey A. Shares ‘Highly Requested’ Natural Curl Tutorial — See How She Styles Her Hair!
Curls for days!
Bachelor Nation fans are getting to know Kelsey A. as she looks for love with Joey Graziadei on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
And while she’s been going on dates on-screen, fans have been dying to know how she styles her gorgeous natural curly hair.
Now, Kelsey A. took to TikTok to spill the tea on her hair secrets.
Kelsey A. starts off her video by saying, “My long awaited for, highly requested hair tutorial video is here right now. We’re doing it. This is all my natural hair. My mom’s side is Hispanic and my dad’s side is Scandinavian. I don’t know if that means that I should have a lot of hair or not, but I do. Before getting in the shower, I just brush it out.”
In the video, she jumps in the shower and then hops out with wet hair to start her curl tutorial.
She said, “I use the Redkin Frizz Dismiss to start and I use this, which is like a comb but in brush form. Once I brush through it all, I use the shea moisture curl style milk. I put a little in my hand and work it through my hair with my fingers and scrunch it.”
And while Kelsey A. is sharing how she styles her hair, she said she’s always open to feedback on other products or tips.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “This is what’s working for me currently, but I am so open for people to give critiques and help me get my curls looking better. I do feel like my hair tends to be frizzy and it’s on the drier side. I get my hair trimmed pretty often and I also do take hair, nail, and skin vitamins and collagen. I’ve always had very voluptuous hair; it’s always been big. It’s genetics, you know?”
After these steps, Kelsey A. lets her hair air dry while it soaks up all the products she put it in.
She hopped back on camera, saying, “This is an hour and a half later. My hair takes forever to dry. I only put heat on my hair once a week at most. Sometimes I don’t at all. And I usually have a day or two where I just slick it back. I think that really helps with any damage.”
Kelsey A. went on, saying, “I also don’t get my hair dyed often. I do like some highlights because I feel like they give my curls more dimension. It makes them look a little bit better and you can see the texture. If it looks a little frizzy, I spray a little water.”
She concluded her video by sharing a message about self-love and embracing her natural hair.
Kelsey A. said, “I think embracing our natural beauty is awesome and I do think we have to embrace it ourselves because we are our harshest critics. We should give ourselves grace and just embrace it all!”
