Colton Underwood Expecting First Child with Husband Jordan Brown: ‘Little Boy Is Coming This Fall’

Bachelor Nation fans got to know Colton Underwood on Season 14 of “The Bachelorette,” and he returned to our screens for Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” before becoming the Season 23 Bachelor.
After his time on the Bachelor Nation shows, Colton came out as gay and married his husband Jordan Brown last May in Napa Valley, California.
Now, just after their first anniversary, the couple shared that they are expecting their first child together!
Earlier this year, Colton opened up about experiencing male factor infertility and how he underwent “sperm rehab” to get his sperm count up.
The former Bachelor took to Instagram to share the exciting news that he and his husband are growing their family.
He wrote, “Our little boy is coming this fall 💙.”
The couple also spoke to Men’s Health about their road to having a baby, which for them meant pursuing IVF and surrogacy.
The outlet shared that Colton and Jordan have a fertility team of nine people and the process has cost them around $350,000.
The Underwood-Browns found their egg donor using a concierge service, and told Men’s Health that they were hoping for a donor who was “spontaneous and adventurous.”
Colton said, “Some people want blue eyes and blond hair. We want somebody deep and cool. I believe in nature versus nurture. So, give us the basics and we can show this kid love.”
The couple ended up receiving 22 eggs from their donor, and their sperm was divided evenly to create embryos.
They eventually transferred the healthiest embryo to the surrogate and found out they will be having a baby boy in October.
The outlet shared, “The couple plans to have two children, and whoever’s sperm wasn’t used this time will be used the second time.”
And while Colton and Jordan don’t know whose sperm was used this time, they don’t think it will be difficult to tell.
We can’t wait to meet Colton and Jordan’s little one this fall and watch them become parents!
