Andi Dorfman Gets Candid About Pregnancy, Trying to Conceive, and Finding Out Her Baby’s Gender

Former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman married her husband Blaine Hart last year in an intimate ceremony in Sorrento, Italy.
And earlier this week, the two took to social media to share that they are expecting their first baby together!
Now, Andi is answering fan questions about her pregnancy journey so far in a new Instagram Q&A.
A fan asked Andi if she and Blaine conceived naturally (Andi publicly went through the egg freezing process in her late 20s) because she is also in her late 30s and hopes to have kids.
Andi got candid with her answer, saying, “We did. I was basically 37 and Blaine was 38 when we conceived. Most of y’all know I froze my eggs back when I was 29 (which I highly recommend if possible by the way) and we did not get to those this time. We do hope for more kids!”
The former Bachelorette shared more about her journey to conceive, saying, “We had been trying for about eight months (just tracking, etc.) and definitely had our months of disappointment, but we hung in there. Advice is hard to give on this subject because every is so different and it’s such an emotional personal journey. I’ll just say I wish everyone TTC blessings on blessings.”
Another fan asked Andi if she and Blaine are finding out the gender before giving birth and she said, “Yes! I’m horrible at surprises. It’s funny because I come from all girls and Blaine comes from all boys, so it’s been a funny discussion/betting game.”
She didn’t share the sex of her baby yet, but she told fans to stay tuned and vote in a poll on what they think her baby is.
Around 58% of her followers said girl and 42% said boy. We’ll just have to wait and see!
Andi said her husband Blaine has been “amazing” throughout her pregnancy so far and has been very protective and nurturing of her.
She said, “I’m honestly more excited to see him as a dad than myself as a mom. Is that strange? I just know he’s gonna be so good!”
We are so happy for Andi, Blaine, and their entire family. We are wishing them all the best throughout this pregnancy and can’t wait to meet their little one later this year.
