Colton Underwood Shares First Look at His Baby Boy’s ‘Not Traditional’ Nursery — See the Pictures!
An exciting time!
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Colton Underwood on Season 14 of “The Bachelorette,” and he returned to our screens for Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” before becoming the Season 23 Bachelor.
After his time on the Bachelor Nation shows, Colton came out as gay and married his husband Jordan Brown last May in Napa Valley, California.
Earlier this year after their first anniversary, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child together!
And now, Colton has spoken exclusively with People magazine to give a first look into his baby boy’s nursery as they prepare to become first-time parents.
In figuring out how to decorate the room, Colton shared that he and Jordan decided to go a little outside of the box.
He said, “We’re going with not your traditional [nursery], so we’re going with some greens, some yellows, some reds, which I know people might not think is going to work, but we’re really excited.”
Colton and Jordan also worked with designer Chad Wood to create their son’s nursery and shared that the crib is a very special part of the room for them since they built it together.
“All of these little moments just mean so much to us because we don’t physically get to be along with the entire ride,” he reflected. “We’re not with our surrogate every single day, so… leaning into how we want this room to feel when we enter… where do we want the nursing chair to be when we want to hold him and feed him, it just adds more weight into those decisions.”
The Bachelor Nation star also posted photos of the nursery for his followers online and wrote, “Our little guy will be joining us soon. Here is a peek into his room 💙 a nursery, but make it chic 🤙🏼 We started with the crib from @nestigbaby and built around that. 🔨”
Fans and fellow Bachelor Nation alums loved the post and showed their support for the soon-to-be new dad.
Daisy Kent wrote, “Omg I love the room! ❤️” and JoJo Fletcher added, “Perfection, I love this!!”

We can’t wait to meet Colton and Jordan’s little one this fall and watch them become parents in this beautiful new nursery!
