Special memories. 

Bachelor Nation fans got to know Kasey Kahl on Season 6 of “The Bachelorette” and later when he returned to our screens for Season 2 of “Bachelor Pad.”

Since his time on the shows, Kasey married his wife Amanda Kahl in 2015 and they welcomed their son Kiptyn in 2020. 

Earlier this year, the couple announced they were expecting their second child and that it was a baby girl.

The parents of two just shared that their daughter Karter was born earlier this week, and posted the sweet moment when Kiptyn met his baby sister for the very first time. 

Kasey wrote over the video, “POV: We revealed our new baby girl to our amazing son who has non verbal autism for the first time…What he does next after seeing his sister’s face for the first time will touch your soul.”

The video shows Amanda holding Karter for Kiptyn to see, and Kasey assisting right next to them. 

The proud big brother, wearing a shirt that says “big brother,” doesn’t seem to notice his new baby sister at first. But once Amanda turns Karter around so Kiptyn can see her face, he leans over and gives his sister a kiss on the forehead. 

The new family of four are all smiling and Kasey is seen noticeably touched by the heartwarming moment. 

He wrote in his caption, “I will admit, at first I was very nervous to introduce our son with non verbal autism to our newborn, fragile daughter. He can’t communicate yet and doesn’t really understand emotion. But what he did at first sight blew us away.”

Kasey continued, “My heart is still so full from this extremely special moment. He didn’t quite know what mom was doing in a hospital bed so we waited to reveal her right away. But the second we pulled back her blanket and he saw her face, he instantly realized who she was and what she was going to be to him, and went in for a kiss.”

He finished by saying, “Some might not fully understand the magnitude of just how amazing this was to see first hand, but I just can’t stop watching it.” 

So sweet!

Kasey also shared a video of their new family of four leaving the hospital together and expressed, “The Kahl’s party of 4 please. So thankful for a beautiful healthy baby girl! It hits different with a 4th!”
