Connor Brennan Shares the Story and Inspiration Behind His New Song ‘Habit of This’
Opening up.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Connor Brennan on Season 17 of “The Bachelorette,” and he went on to appear on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since his time on the shows, Connor has been keeping fans updated with his life on social media, including his love for music and songwriting.
The Bachelor Nation star has created his own music over the years and recently announced that he just released a brand-new song called “Habit of This.”
In honor of its release, Connor has taken to Instagram to share the story behind the song and what inspired him to create it.
Next to a photo of him with his music team, he wrote, “This song is the delightful, turbulent beginning of the relationship that is about to ruin you. It’s about distance, and desperation, and new love. It’s about knowing deep down that what’s about to happen is going to ruin you. It’s about knowing all that and jumping in anyway.”
Connor shared how creating this song has been a dream come true, noting he got to work with people he’d wanted to work with for a decade.
“I’m incredibly emotional thinking about everything that went into creating this song,” he said. “It’s been a dream of mine for a decade to write and record with Deirdre and Nick, and I never in a million years could have imagined it would turn out this well. Getting to have Brandon, Ashley, and Josh involved too makes me so overwhelmingly grateful for the people I have in my life.”
The Bachelor Nation star ended his post by revealing that this past year was very difficult for him, but he’s looking towards the positive.
He expressed, “This was one of the hardest years of my life. But so SO much beauty came from it, and I can’t wait for you to hear.”
Connor’s family and friends filled his post with comments of love and support for his new song.
One of his music team members wrote, “Congrats @connorfalcon !!!! Such a blast making this record with you and your wonderful crew - love 2 all”
A friend added, “DUDE, single sounds SO GOOD! congrats brother.”
And a loved one chimed in, “I literally have not been able to get the demo out of my head for MONTHS - I’m so happy to finally have the full thing!! AND ITS SO GOOD BROTHER 👏”
Many congratulations to Connor! We could not be more excited for him and can’t wait to hear his new song!
