Zach Shallcross Hints at Eloping with Kaity Biggar: ‘This Is Happening Really Quick’
Wedding bells are ringing!
Bachelor Nation fans got to see fan-favorite couple Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross fall in love and get engaged on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”
A couple months ago, the couple got engaged again as Zach got down on one knee for a second time and re-proposed to his fiancée.
Now in a recent interview on the “Almost Famous” podcast with Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti, Zach has hinted that he and Kaity might be eloping soon.
In explaining how this decision came to be, he shared, “We had been planning or talking about wanting to plan our wedding. Figure out a date, figure out a venue, what we like, what we don’t like. And one of our good friends, she happens to be an event planner/wedding planner, and we’re like, ‘You know what? Let’s just meet with her.’”
Zach then shared that after their meeting with their friend and explaining what they’re looking for, things took off very quickly.
“Credit to our wedding planner,” he said. “She took it and started to run with it and started just booking us at all these places. And we’re like, ‘Oh, wow! This is happening really quick.’”
The Bachelor Nation star also revealed that he and Kaity are prioritizing buying a house first before having a wedding, which is why their venue fell through.
He said, “Kaity and I pondered on it for a week and we were like, ‘It does not feel good to just go into this venue when we’ve already established what our priorities are, which is buying a house and not, you know, a down payment for one day.’ So we backed out of the contract.”
Ben then asked Zach if he would marry Kaity tomorrow if it was an option, to which Zach enthusiastically replied, “Yes! So we are, uh, I don’t know if Kaity wants me to talk about this, but we’re planning to get eloped very soon. Like very soon.”
He also admitted that he and his fiancée do want to eventually have a party to celebrate, but most likely after they’ve gotten married.
“We’ll figure out the celebration and all of that, like the glitz and the glamour,” he stated, “but yes. We’re in. It’s not a matter of when, it’s the other stuff and wanting to have all the family from all over come for it.”
We can’t wait for the day Zach and Kaity officially become husband and wife, and we’ll keep you updated whenever that special day comes!
