Kaity Biggar & Zach Shallcross are Getting Married This Year in an Intimate Courthouse Ceremony — Hear the Exclusive Interview!

Tying the knot!
Bachelor Nation fans got to see fan-favorite couple Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross fall in love and get engaged on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”
A couple months ago, the couple got engaged again as Zach got down on one knee for a second time and reproposed to his fiancée.
And earlier this year, they teased that they are planning to elope.
Now, Kaity is spilling the tea on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast and revealing that they’ve decided to tie the knot together this year!

In an exciting life update, Kaity revealed that not only are she and Zach getting married soon but that they’re also planning on starting a family within the next year and a half.
She said, “Life is great! Zach and I have decided we’re gonna get married this year. No, I’m not telling you guys a date. But yeah! We’re so excited. And then we’re thinking like a year and a half from now, having a little baby! Because I’m so maternal and I can’t wait to have kids. But I’m just loving this stage in our relationship and where we are in life, so I’m just soaking it all in. And we’re traveling so much, and I just love that man to death.”
Podcast hosts Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile then asked Kaity if she and Zach have already picked out a location for where they’d like to get married.
“We’re literally just gonna go to City Hall,” Kaity replied, “[A wedding] is so expensive and no money is coming from our families. This is genuinely coming out of Zach and I’s pockets, which is fine. And we were quoted like $70K to $80K for a wedding, and I’m like, ‘You know what, baby? Let’s sign the paper and then we’ll have a huge party later down the road.’

"And he honestly lit up when I said that because it wasn’t his idea. He was like, ‘If you want the big wedding, we’ll do it. If you want a small wedding, whatever you want.’ And I was like, ‘This is what I want.’”
The couple is currently living in Austin and previously mentioned not wanting to have a big wedding in order to save money to buy a house. Serena asked if the two are planning on staying in Austin for a little longer, and Kaity gave another exciting update.
She said, “Yeah, so I think we’re gonna actually buy a house by the end of the year together. We were thinking North Carolina, but when that tornado came through, it kind of gave me the heebie-jeebies a little bit, so we kind of took a step back from that and I think we’re gonna buy in Austin. And then see where life takes us. We’re not married to Austin for the rest of our lives.”
