Kaity Biggar Shares Behind-the-Scenes Details About Her & Zach Shallcross’ Wedding Reception

Bachelor Nation fans watched Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross fall in love and get engaged on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”
Since then, the fan-favorite couple has been enjoying life together in Austin, Texas, with their adorable dog, Honey.
Five months ago, they tied the knot in a Bachelor Nation exclusive wedding video during an intimate ceremony with only immediate family and close friends.
And this week, the couple threw the wedding celebration of their dreams in Austin with many of their Bachelor Nation besties in attendance.
Now, Kaity is sharing some behind-the-scenes details about their recent wedding reception on her Instagram Story.
While answering a fan question about why they decided to have a small ceremony and larger reception later, Kaity shared, “At the start of the year, when Zach and I were looking into having a big wedding, I almost threw up at the prices of everything. Zach was very much, ‘We’ll do whatever you want 🩷,’ but I knew I didn’t need the huge wedding. I know a lot of people dream of their wedding day, but for me, I was just so happy and content that I met an incredible man who loves me so much!!”
Kaity went on and revealed some unknown details about their ceremony and wedding reception.
She spilled, “I found my dress two weeks before the ceremony, my brand manager found me shoes the week of, etc. We had seven family members there and went out for dinner that evening. It was a very small, intimate, and beautiful day! Zach and I always knew we wanted to celebrate later on with friends and family — I just needed time to organize it all! And I’m not saying the celebration wasn’t expensive (because it was 😂), but it was still way less than what we were quoted for a traditional wedding!! It was the best decision for us, and we don’t have a single regret!!”
The Bachelor Nation star then shared her favorite part of the celebration, saying, “Having all my loved ones under one roof & meeting Zach’s buddies he grew up with that I haven’t had the chance to meet yet 🩷”
