Emily Maynard Officially Becomes a Grandma at 39 Years Old — See Her Adorable Granddaughter

Bachelor Nation fan favorite Emily Maynard Johnson first appeared on Season 15 of “The Bachelor” and eventually went on to be the Season 8 Bachelorette.
Emily found her happily ever after with her husband of 11 years, Tyler Johnson, after her time on the show. And if you watched Emily’s season of “The Bachelorette,” you likely recall that her daughter Ricki was a big part of her story.
Emily’s identity as a single mom was central to her season, as Ricki was from her relationship with NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick who tragically passed away in a plane crash in 2004, shortly before Emily discovered she was pregnant.
Over the years, Emily has been keeping us updated with Ricki’s life on social media and Ricki has been sharing her life online as well.
Last year, Ricki took to social media to share the news that she was expecting her first child — a baby girl — at 20 years old.
And now, Emily is officially a grandma at 39 years old as the family welcomed Ricki’s baby girl, Romi, into the world over the weekend.
Alongside photos of their adorable granddaughter and growing extended family, Emily & Tyler wrote, “We became grandparents today!! The feeling is inexpressible 🤍🤍🤍. This is love.”
Ricki commented on the post, “I love you so much❤️❤️❤️,” and fellow Bachelor Nation stars chimed in with their congratulations.
