Robert Irwin Opens Up About Whether He’d Like to Be the Next Bachelor: ‘Anything Could Happen’

As fans get ready for the highly anticipated Season 22 premiere of “The Bachelorette,” speculation has begun to grow online on if a familiar face will become the next Bachelor.
Amid all the excitement, wildlife conservationist and “DWTS” winner Robert Irwin has had Bachelor Nation buzzing as he recently revealed he’s looking for love.
And in an online interview with E! News, Robert revealed whether he can see himself finding love on a future season of “The Bachelor.”
In response to if he’d want to hand out roses, he shared, "Never say never… I'm in this realm right now where I'm like, ‘Never say never.’”
The 22-year-old heartthrob continued and teased that he could see it being a possibility, suggesting, “Who knows… It's a strange world. Anything could happen."
However, even though the wildlife conservationist has seen the speculations online, he expressed his heart belongs to the animals.
"I feel like some of the rumors flying around during ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ like, ‘Robert's gonna be the next Bachelor’… I'm like, ‘Oh, my goodness.’ I'm a zookeeper. I'm an animal conservationist,” he explained, “That's my thing. My world is very different from most of the things that are reported on about me.”
Robert also joked that his dating life would be boring to watch, expressing that his love life is “pretty vanilla.”
“My life is a lot more boring than you might think,” he teased, “It’s exciting when it comes to animals. I mean, I’m jumping on crocs and I’m catching snakes and I’m rescuing koalas. But when it comes to that side of it, I’m pretty vanilla.”
Robert also opened up about the challenges of dating in the public eye as “anything you do will be on TikTok the next day.” And shared that he always stays true to himself.
“I never change what I say, what I do, who I am one bit, wherever I am,” he said, “It's just me, and I stand by who I am."
