Peter Weber Needed Surgery, 22 Stitches After He ‘Split His Face Open’ in Costa Rica
Peter Weber faced some turbulence while filming Season 24 of “The Bachelor” in Costa Rica.
Multiple outlets confirm that Pilot Peter suffered a “serious injury” while golfing in Central America. According to “Radar Online,” the new Bachelor “went to step on the cart but fell and split his face open on two cocktail glasses he was carrying.” He ultimately needed 22 stitches on his face.
A source told Us Weekly that Peter had to make the two-hour journey to a hospital in San Jose, the country’s capital, where he “underwent surgery.” The source told the magazine, “The reason he traveled for two hours to a hospital was that this specific hospital had a surgeon that specialized in his injuries.”
Both “Radar Online” and Us Weekly report that the remaining women were traveling to Costa Rica from Ohio when the accident happened.

Chris Harrison told “Entertainment Tonight” that the show’s lead is “100% OK.”
Harrison told the site, "Production is already back underway.”
Peter has publicly held the role as the next Bachelor for only a few weeks. Chris Harrison made the big announcement during the “Bachelor in Paradise” finale September 17. He told the longtime host while sitting in the Hot Seat, “My entire life, I have truly looked forward to finding my girl and that person that I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with.”
The 28-year-old added, “This is not normal — dating 30 women at a time. I’ve never done this before, so there’s going to be ups and downs. I know that’s coming, and I’m not going to be perfect being in this position. The possibility of making the wrong decision is out there, but I’m going to follow my heart.”
Ultimately, Peter hopes that these women will open their hearts to him and the experience and allow themselves to be vulnerable. “Wear your heart on your sleeve,” he urged them.
Get well soon, Peter!
