Peter Weber Says He Would '100%' Consider Being the Next Bachelor
Many fans of “The Bachelorette” don’t want Peter Weber’s time in Bachelor Nation to come to an end. Neither does he.
Pilot Pete stopped by Rachel Lindsay and Ali Fedotowsky-Manno’s podcast “Bachelor Happy Hour with Rachel & Ali” and talked about his time on the show. After divulging some secrets about his Fantasy Suite in the windmill, Rachel and Ali asked Peter if he would consider being the next Bachelor.
“Yes. I would love that. Absolutely,” he said on the show.
“I have been through this experience,” he went on. “I know it works. I have fallen in love. I have spent 2 months traveling the world, going on amazing experiences, and truly getting to know someone and falling in love with them. I know it works. There’s no reason why I wouldn’t pursue it as the Bachelor and hope at the end I can find my person. So, yes. If it’s offered, 100%.”
Peter had only nice things to say about Hannah and their experience together, despite still feeling a bit brokenhearted. “I had zero doubt that it was me and her,” he shared. “At the end of the day, Hannah had her reasons. She followed her heart and that’s what she told us she was going to do from the very beginning. For whatever reason, it wasn’t me. That’s no reason to keep me around just because of the windmill.”
He explained to Rachel and Ali that he felt like he got some closure after seeing her for the first time since their breakup in Crete. Peter told the hosts, “Being very honest, I wasn’t 100% over the relationship. I needed some answers from her and some closure. I definitely needed that but I’m feeling a lot better after having that opportunity to see her and closing that chapter and moving on to another one. Hopefully the best is yet to come.”
