Champagnegate Spills Over into Week 3 of 'The Bachelor'
The #Champagnegate saga continues as the epicenter of drama going into Week 3 of “The Bachelor.”
In Monday’s episode, Kelsey saved a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne — which costs about $150 — for a “special” occasion, and she hoped to share it with Peter Weber. She put it in a bucket with some glasses and set it aside, only to have Hannah Ann and Peter discover it and open the bottle.
Kelsey cried and confronted Hannah Ann about the situation, who said she had no idea it was Kelsey’s bottle. Hannah Ann later told Peter she felt like Kelsey was “bullying” her, which upset Kelsey once again.
Kelsey later had her chance to drink champagne with Peter, which turned into an unforgettable moment of its own.
In the super-tease for Week 3 and the rest of the season, Kelsey and Hannah Ann continue to shed tears over the champagne debacle, much to the dismay and fatigue of everyone else in Bachelor Mansion. The clip begins with Kelsey wiping away tears while Hannah Ann cries to someone, “I’m not a champagne stealer. I would never do that to someone. Why would I steal champagne?”
Mykenna, in a confessional, complains, “This drama is taking over the house.”
Meanwhile, according to Sydney, someone is “putting on the pretty little princess façade and she’s manipulating Peter. She’ll get a rude awakening.”
Peter, who apparently feels similarly, says, “Someone is not being genuine with me.”
