Synopsis

Rachel Lindsay’s enchanting smile and laid-back Southern charm captured the heart of viewers when she was given Nick Viall’s first-impression rose on the 21st season of “The Bachelor.” From then on, the jury’s been in, and Bachelor Nation has been unanimous in its support of the bright and beautiful 32-year-old attorney from Dallas. Rachel obtained her undergraduate degree at University of Texas at Austin, then went on to receive her law degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Driven and passionate about her career, Rachel quickly joined a prestigious law firm in Dallas after graduation.

Rachel’s landmark season as the franchise’s first African-American lead began at Bachelor Mansion, where she met 31 hopeful suitors, all ready to “keep it 100” for their leading lady. As the journey progressed, Rachel and her suitors traveled to beautiful locations in South Carolina, Norway, Denmark, and Switzerland, and were treated to surprise appearances from actors Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, television host Ellen DeGeneres, NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and country singer Russell Dickerson.
After visiting the hometowns of her final four suitors, Rachel and her final three traveled to Spain. There, Rachel’s exciting turn as the Bachelorette came to an end when, overlooking to exquisite Spanish countryside, she accepted a proposal from Bryan Abasolo, a 37-year-old chiropractor from Miami.

The happy couple tied the knot August 24, 2019, in Cancún, Mexico and currently live in Miami with their dog, Copper.
