The Truth About Angela Amezcua's Facial Expression During Chris & Krystal's Wedding

Angela Amezcua became an instant Internet sensation during the “Bachelor in Paradise” episode featuring Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone’s stunning wedding. It all happened when Angela walked past her ex Clay Harbor, who sat next to his girlfriend Nicole Lopez-Alvar.

Angela smiled while walking down the aisle, though her facial expression could’ve been mistaken for a smirk. Clay looked on nervously at Angela, while Nicole glared at Clay. That moment was made to be a meme (as evidenced below), and it’s exactly what Krystal Nielson and Ali Fedotowsky-Manno joked about on a new episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour with Rachel & Ali. ” (Krystal joined Ali as a guest co-host Rachel Lindsay was off on her honeymoon in Greece with her now-husband Bryan Abasolo.)

Angela chatted with Krystal and Ali all about what her look was actually trying to convey.

Angela expressed that she was “nervous” about walking down the aisle in front of her ex. Even Krystal was “nervous” about seeing how Angela and Clay would interact. Angela shared, “Here’s my disclaimer: My profession is a model. I saw it as a runway and I just go on autopilot.”

The 29-year-old explained to Krystal and Ali that she “blacked out” during the entire thing. “I really swear I blacked out. It was so much pressure, and I just blacked out. I did not mean for it to be extra. I watched it back and I don’t think it was that bad,” she said.
