Chris Harrison Pokes Fun at Peter Weber's Facial Injury
Chris Harrison is turning to Bachelor Nation to help him make a crucial decision.
The beloved host took to Instagram on Halloween and posted a side-by-side photo of current Bachelor Peter Weber and former Bachelor Nick Viall. Nick dressed up as Peter over Halloweekend, donning a full pilot suit, aviator glasses, a rose, and, to put it all together, a Band-Aid on his forehead. Chris’ picture showed Nick dressed as Peter, and Peter in a suit with a Band-Aid on his head. He captioned it, “Who wore it best @pilot_pete or @nickviall.”
On October 8, Pilot Pete reportedly fell and cut his face while golfing in Costa Rica. Radar Online reported that he “went to step on the cart but fell and split his face open on two cocktail glasses he was carrying.” Peter apparently had to travel two hours to a hospital with a surgeon that “specialized in his injuries.” His wound ultimately required 22 stitches and surgery.

That day, Chris shared an update on social media to ensure that no unfounded rumors about the Season 24 Bachelor were being spread. “There’s been some wild claims and rumors about Peter today. Peter suffered a freak accident,” he wrote. “He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he’s 100% OK and production is already back underway. He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of.”
Nick alluded to some of Peter’s other, shall we say, escapades in his Halloween Instagram caption. He wrote, “Just a Pilot on a flight for love .. will probably crash into a windmill tonight.”

Chris Harrison wasn’t the only “Bachelor” cast member getting fans ready for the new season. The show’s official Instagram page posted a Halloween-inspired video with Peter performing a magic trick. He says in the video, “Would you like a trick… Or a treat?” The video was captioned, “No tricks here. Just a treat! Happy Halloween from #TheBachelor!”

Bachelor Nation fans surely hope Peter’s journey on “The Bachelor” is all treats and no tricks. He told Chris after he was announced as the next Bachelor that he wants to find the woman of his dreams. He shared at the “Bachelor in Paradise” Reunion, “My entire life, I have truly looked forward to finding my girl and that person that I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with.”
He added, “I’ve never done this before, so there’s going to be ups and downs. I know that’s coming, and I’m not going to be perfect being in this position. The possibility of making the wrong decision is out there, but I’m going to follow my heart.”
