'Bachelor Nation Royalty' Lauren Bushnell & Chris Lane Drop By 'Listen to Your Heart'
"The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart" promised to feature familiar Bachelor Nation faces along the way, and tonight's episode will not disappoint.
A new clip shows Natascha choosing Ryan to accompany her on a special date, which involves attending a concert by "Bachelor Nation royalty" Chris Lane and his wife Lauren Bushnell Lane. The “Listen to Your Heart” artists head to House of Blues, where they arrive to Chris singing his hit song "Big, Big Plans," which he wrote for Lauren.
Natascha gushes, "We get to the House of Blues and see Chris Lane and his wife Lauren — Bachelor Nation royalty! I just can’t believe this is happening."

Chris’ song is more than just a romantic anthem — he wrote it specifically for his proposal to Lauren. Chris croons in the second verse, for instance, "Well, she don't know I already bought a ring / Hid it in the bottom left drawer, right beside the sink / A shiny emerald diamond on a brand-new band / Asked her mama for permission and her daddy for her hand."
The country singer popped the question over Father’s Day weekend in 2019 while on vacation at Lauren's parents' house in Oregon. According to People, he changed the lyrics at the time to reflect the specific moment: "Right now we’re back in her hometown / and I’m down on one knee."
Chris told the publication he "pretty much blacked out" during the song out of nerves, but she accepted and "the nerves just lifted."
Lauren called the romantic gesture "the happiest moment of my life."
The happy couple tied the knot on October 25 in Nashville, Tennessee. They chose "secret garden" as their décor as a tribute to Lauren's home state of Oregon. She told People, "Nashville is really green, and then I’m from Oregon, so that’s kind of how I wanted it to feel. I wanted it to have a secret garden kind of feel — really romantic."
Neither Chris nor Lauren is a stranger to "The Bachelor." Lauren appeared on Ben Higgins' season and received his final rose. Chris performed his song "For Her" on Season 21 of "The Bachelor" with Nick Viall one year after Lauren appeared on the show.
To see Natascha and Ryan's date at Chris Lane's concert and see him sing amorous songs about Lauren, be sure to tune in to tonight's episode of "Listen to Your Heart," which airs at 8 p.m. on ABC.
