Chris & Peyton Lambton Celebrate 8 Years of Marriage
Chris and Peyton Lambton’s eighth wedding anniversary celebration didn’t happen as planned, but the happy couple still managed to eke out a romantic dinner.
The Lambtons tied the knot on May 5, 2012, in South Carolina, and reminisced about their big day on social media. Both Peyton and Chris posted photos from their beachside wedding just outside Charleston, as well as the candlelit table at their home in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Peyton captioned her series of photos, "8 YEARS!!!! We were supposed to be in Charleston this week celebrating my cousins wedding and our anniversary, but as you know plans changed. It’s a beautiful sunny day on the Cape and I am thankful for that! And very thankful that this amazing man continues to put up with me and all my crazy. Love you."

Though Chris and Peyton are a standout Bachelor Nation couple, they didn't meet on "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette." Chris made it to the final two on Ali Fedotowsky's season and Peyton (née Wright) appeared on Andy Baldwin's season of "The Bachelor." It would take a few years for serendipity to work in their favor.
Jesse Beck, who knew Chris from "The Bachelorette" and Peyton from "Bachelor Pad," introduced the two during an outing in North Carolina. Peyton drove to Raleigh, North Carolina, from Tennessee and called it the "best drive I ever made." She told Glamour magazine, "I think about what if I hadn't gone? I wonder if Chris and I would have ever crossed paths again."
It's a Bachelor Nation love story at its best!

Both Chris and Peyton continue to make regular appearances on television. Chris hosts the shows "Lawn and Order" and "Yard Crashers," and Peyton makes cameos on HGTV as well. Plus, they have two adorable kids: Lyla James, 3, and Hayes Jennings, 17 months.
