Rudi Opens Up About Matt's 'Commitment Issues' After 'Listen to Your Heart' Finale
Many fans of "The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart" are disappointed that Rudi and Matt sent themselves home in Nashville, never getting a chance to sing in the final performances.
In the show's season finale, Matt expressed his feelings to Rudi, but lamented that he didn't think they were at the same stage in their relationship as Chris and Bri and Jamie and Trevor. Rudi and Matt became a fan-favorite couple early in the season, especially when they covered Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's song "Shallow" and when they got to sing and dance with Shaggy.
So, where do Rudi and Matt stand today? Rudi stopped by "Bachelor Happy Hour" to talk to Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin about what happened with Matt and how she feels about their relationship today.
"Matt just had a really hard time navigating his feelings throughout this whole entire thing," Rudi shared. "When you do perform in front of those judges and you have a great performance, how can you not be on cloud 25? You’re on a whole other level of happiness. I was always there with him."
Rudi noted that Matt "has commitment issues" and wishes she had been more aware of that while on the show. She said, "He’s not the best communicator, and that’s something that really hurt us. I never knew where he was because he never talked to me about that."
Although Rudi and Matt left the show early and broke up, she still holds him in the highest regard. Rudi explained to Becca and Rachel that she and Matt "talk every day."

She said, "We’re very, very close. He’s a confused person, and I’ll let him be confused. My feelings cannot just turn off like that, so I’d be lying if I said I didn’t care about him. We’ll see what happens."
Plus, she didn't hold back when admitting, "I love making music with him... When we’re singing together, it’s hard to not just want to jump on him, so I don’t know how that’s going to work."
Rudi and Matt live in the same city now, and she said they've seen each other "a couple times since the show."
